A franchise revival for Project Gotham Racing is underway by Microsoft who is out about town, schmoozing with a number of third-party developers.

Microsoft are still undecided who should get the PGR project. Original developer Bizarre Creations is now owned by Activision, so they're out.

Project Gotham Racing is an arcade style racer and it was thought that Microsoft's Turn-10 studio, developer of the Forza Motorsport series, would be a likely candidate for injecting the PGR brand with new life - Microsoft appear to have other plans.

Do you welcome a new Project Gotham Racing, videogamer? Who would you like to see land the big-time deal with Microsoft? Who has the pedigree for it?
